Cyrus Blackmore (Outside Sales)

Cy joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1963 as an outside salesman.  Cy worked for Bell & Gossett on a co-op program between 1958-61 before completing his Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois in 1961.  Cy is a member of ASHRAE, and served as president of the St. Louis Chapter in 1981-82.  He received the chapter’s Hermann F. Spoehrer award in 1991.  He has been a member of ASHRAE TC 8.1 (Pumps and Hydronic Piping) since 1992.  He served as president of the Fluid Handling Representatives Association in 1987-88.  He has worked in both the Kansas City and St. Louis locations.  He served as president of Blackmore and Glunt from 1985-99.  He currently serves as CEO and Chairman of the Board.  Cy is a registered professional engineer in the states of Missouri and Illinois.

 

Scott Blackmore (Outside Sales)

Scott joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1993 as an outside salesman covering southern Illinois and southeast Missouri and currently covers St. Louis.  He earned his Bachelors of Social Science from Michigan State University in 1993.  He then attended a 13 week training program at Bell & Gossett’s Little Red Schoolhouse.  He is a member of ASHRAE, serving as the President of the St. Louis chapter from 2004-2005.  Scott became Secretary / Treasurer of Blackmore and Glunt in 1999.

   

John Glunt (Outside Sales)

John joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1976 as an outside salesman. He completed his Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 1976.  John is a member of ASHRAE and has served on TC 6.1 (Steam and Hydronic Systems) since 1983.  He was chairman of that committee from 1990-92 and is currently the Handbook Subcommittee chairman.  He served as president of the Fluid Handling Representatives Association in 1994-95.  John was co-awarded a patent with his father, Gordon Glunt in 1998 for the “Flange Adapter”, a cast, short-length concentric reducer that is drilled and tapped.  The flange adapter is currently manufactured by Flow Conditioning Corporation.  He has worked in both the St. Louis and Kansas City locations.  John became president of Blackmore and Glunt in 1999, and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Kansas.

 

Robert Glunt (Outside Sales)

Robert joined Blackmore and Glunt in 2004 as an outside salesman covering southern Illinois, western Kentucky, and southeast Missouri. Robert graduated in 2004 from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelors of Science in Communication Studies. He is a member of ASHRAE and heads the TEGA committee.

Greg C. Hoekstra (Inside Sales)

Greg joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1997. He reviews plans and specifications, prepares quotations, fields calls from contractors, engineers, wholesalers, and end-users for all engineered product. He supports outside personnel.

Mike Haywood (Outside Sales)

Mike joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1988 as an industrial outside salesman covering St. Louis and southeast Missouri.  Mike earned his Bachelors of Industrial Engineering in 1968 from the St. Louis University.  Mike is a member of the Central Association of Physical Plant Administrators-Midwest Branch.

 

Ed Masterson (Outside Sales)

Ed joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1993. He earned his Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1988. Ed also earned a Certificate in Control Systems Technology from Rankin in 2000. He gained valuable experience selling wastewater pumps and related equipment during a three year stint with Blackmore and Glunt's sister company, Progress Environmental. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Missouri. Currently Ed covers southern Illinois as an industrial outside salesman.

 

Angie Neal (Inside Sales)

Angie joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1986. She reviews plans and specifications, prepares quotations and submittals, fields calls from customers, and supports outside sales. She also schedules Little Red Schoolhouse Training.

 

John Schmidt (Outside Sales)

John joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1979 as an HVAC outside salesman. He earned his Bachelors of Engineering Management from the University if Missouri-Rolla in 1979. He worked for a year and a half in Blackmore and Glunt's Kansas City office before coming to St. Louis. He is a member of ASHRAE and is a registered professional engineer in the states of Missouri and Illinois. John currently covers central Illinois.

 

Bobbie Seibold (Inside Sales & Quotations Manager)

Bobbie joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1990. She reviews plans and specifications, prepares quotations, fields calls from contractors, engineers, wholesalers, and end-users for all engineered product. She supports outside personnel.

 

Bill Stobbs (Outside Sales)

Bill joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1981. He earned his bachelors degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 1984. He has been an active member of ASHRAE, serving as president of the St. Louis chapter in 1996-1997. Bill is also a member of SMACNA. Currently, Bill covers eastern Missouri, including Columbia and Jefferson City as an HVAC outside salesman.

 

Customer Service

Ken Bothe (Customer Service Technician)

Ken Bothe joined Blackmore and Glunt’s Customer Service Department as a Pump Assembler in 2000 and is responsible for building and repairing pumps. Ken has been in the pump industry since 1984.

 

David R. Creasy (Warehouse Manager & Customer Service Representative)

Dave joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1987. Dave serves as the St. Louis warehouse manager and as a customer service representative. Dave's customer service duties include fielding calls for all parts and stocked product, order entry, order tracking, equipment receipts and assembly of pumps and motors.

 

Chris Dunphy (Customer Service Technician)

Chris Dunphy joined Blackmore and Glunt’s Customer Service Department in 2004 as a Service Technician.  Chris is responsible for troubleshooting, solving problems and repairing equipment.  Chris  attended Lewis & Clark Community college and has been in the Pump Service and Repair Industry since 1979.

 

Douglas Garrison (Shipper/Receiver)

Douglas Garrison joined Blackmore and Glunt’s Customer Service Department in 2005 as a Shipper/Receiver and assists customers at our city counter.

 

Bob Heiser (Shipper/Receiver)

Bob Heiser joined Blackmore and Glunt’s Customers Department in 2007 as a Shipper/Receiver and assists customers at the city counter.  Bob is also responsible for product painting and pump assembly.

 

Dennis Hischke (Customer Service Technician)

Dennis Hischke joined Blackmore and Glunt’s Customer Service Department in 1988 as a Service Technician.  Dennis is responsible for troubleshooting, solving problems and repairing equipment.  Dennis attended Lewis & Clark Vocation Technical School and has been in the HVAC industry since 1979.

 

Bill Holtshouser (Customer Service Technician)

Bill Holtshouser joined Blackmore and Glunt’s Customer Service Department in 1997 with 20 years experience as a Boeing Electronics Systems Test  Engineer.   Bill is responsible for the assembly, testing and quality control of Hydronic Indicators and Trumpet Valves.

 

Richard G. Waite (Traffic Manager & Customer Service Representative)

Rich joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1980. As St. Louis Traffic Manager, Rich is responsible for negotiating and coordinating shipments of all equipment and resolution of all freight claims. Rich's customer service duties include fielding calls for all parts and stocked product, order entry, order tracking and proof of delivery.

Operations

Ruth Biri (Receptionist )

Ruth Biri joined Blackmore and Glunt’s Customer Service Department as a Receptionist in 1999.  Ruth greets all customers and assists our customer service department.  

 

Paula Bonafade (Controller/Information Technology )

Paula Bonafede joined Blackmore and Glunt’s Accounts Department as Controller in 2004.  Paula is responsible for all Accounting Functions including supervising the accounting department.    

 

Katherine C. Jordan (Operations Manager)

Kathy joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1981. Kathy's experience includes 8 years as corporate secretary and has been operations manager since 1988. As Operations Manager, Kathy's responsibilities include management of the office, customer service, warehouse, service department, warranty returns, accounts receivables, human resources and employee benefits.

 

Lynn Morice (Business Systems/Data Entry )

Lynn Morice joined Blackmore and Glunt’s Accounting Department as a Computer Operator in 1985.  Lynn is our AS400 business systems specialist and is responsible for data entry, order entry, accounts receivable, accounts payable and  various accounting functions. 

 

Karey Nix (Accounts Receivable/Receptionist )

Karey Nix joined Blackmore and Glunt’s Customer Service Department in 1997.  Karey is responsible for Order Entry,  Receivables, Reception and assists the Sales Department by furnishing Submittals and IOM’s to customers.

 

Timothy R. Ruff (Purchasing Agent)

Tim joined Blackmore and Glunt in 1980. Tim has experience in customer service, inside sales and purchasing. As Purchasing Agent, Tim's responsibilities include maintaining inventory in all three Blackmore and Glunt warehouses, coordinating the building of stock pumps, handling factory warranty, sourcing new vendors, expediting orders, verifying acknowledgments and approving factory invoices.

 

Regina Tebbe (Accounts Payable/Data Entry )

Regina Tebbe joined Blackmore and Glunt’s Accounting Department as a Computer Operator in 2001.  Regina is responsible for data entry, order entry, accounts receivable, accounts payable and various accounting functions.
